THE TURN HOUSE in Columbia is seeking full-time and part-time BANQUET SERVING STAFF.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent service to banquet guests.
- Sets up and breaks down rooms, furniture, bars, and chafing dishes.
- Follows directions of the Chef and the Banquet Coordinator and uses BEO to validate with the guest host.
- Exhibits service-mindedness, a sense of urgency, and professionalism at all times.
- Resets all banquet areas, performs light cleaning and organization tasks.
Requirements:
- THIS IS AN HOURLY POSITION with only occasional tips. Starting wages from $18-20 per hour commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Restaurant and/or banquet experience is a must.
- must be 18+ years old.
- Basic job requirements include lifting, moving, and carrying objects that weigh 30 pounds, being on your feet for your entire shift.
- We require a 3-shift minimum, weekend availability is a must including Sundays.
