Woodfield Country Clubin Boca Raton ishiringBanquet Servers and Set-up Attendantsfor our exciting season.Our ideal candidatewill have a minimum of 6 monthsservice experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant or country club environment.You must have excellent communication and service skills.
Set-up attendantsare responsible for the set-up of all functions to the specifications of the BanquetEvent Order (BEO). This includes considerable physical activity in transporting of awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc., from storage area to ballroom/meeting rooms.

The Banquet Server is responsible for performingthe following duties:
- Provide exceptional service for the catered event/function.
- Relayorders to kitchen and servecourses from kitchen and service bars.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
- Observes diners to respond to any additional requests, and to determine when meal has been completed.
- Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
The Banquet Set-up Attendant is responsible for performing the following duties:
- Responsible for maintaining organization of banquet storage areas.
- Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
- Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concludedso the room will be available to be reset for the next function.
- Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- This position requires considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift for room set up and break down with or without reasonable accommodations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent service orientation
- 6 months of prior experience
- Excellent communication and service skills
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant or country club, preferred
