Barber/Stylist - Worthington Industries

We are looking to hire an on-site barber to service our 6 locations within the Worthington area. Our on-site barbershop was first introduced based on our founder's principles of putting employees first. The barbershop allows employees to schedule an appointment during work hours to support work/life balance. We are looking for a Barber who can bring the family feel to an already thriving culture and continue established relationships plus build upon new clientele. We are looking to fill this role full-time (40 hours/week) but are open to part-time as well. Early mornings and or late evenings may be required to accommodate the shifts of our corporate office and manufacturing facilities. Barber receives 100% of tips and will be part of our company's profit sharing program (paid 4x year).

Responsibilities

• Cut & style of employee hair
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and the shop
• Keeping records of money and turning in schedules
• Willingness to attend seminars and/or shows to stay current with trends
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

• Skilled in both men's and women's cuts
• Experience working with a wide variety of hair types
• Excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed with strong work ethic
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to balance schedule to fulfill each shop and shift
• 1800 hrs of Barber College, pass State Board tests
