We are a designated MBSAQIP Center of Excellence by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.

Essential Functions

1. Candidate must be BC/BE in FM or IM
2. Expertise in the field of bariatric medicine
3. Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine required

Atrium Health Weight Management, created in 2007, was the first in the region to combine medical and surgical weight loss programs within the same center, thus providing the most comprehensive and advanced medical weight loss options to patients. You will have the opportunity to teach medical students, residents, and an obesity medicine fellow about the chronic disease of obesity. We are one of a few practices that has an obesity medicine fellowship program.
