If so, we have an immediate opening for a highly skilled and motivated Barista to join our team at Flying Biscuit Cafe. As a Barista, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in coffee preparation and provide exceptional customer experiences to our guests.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by catering to guests' needs and providing menu recommendations. You will use various coffee preparation techniques and equipment to brew delicious coffee and sell coffee grinding and brewing equipment. Your excellent sales and presentation skills will be essential in upselling and building long-lasting customer relationships.
Main Responsibilities of a Barista:
- Ensure customer satisfaction by catering to guests' needs
- Provide menu recommendations and additional information
- Prepare coffee using various preparation techniques and equipment
- Sell coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment
- Handle cash and credit transactions
- Maintain inventory and manage storage and supplies
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and appealing work environment
Barista Job Requirements:
- Prior experience as a barista
- Skilled in using various coffee preparation techniques
- Skilled in operating and maintaining coffee equipment
- Showcase great sales and presentational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
