The purpose of this job is to perform the duties of Barista in accordance with the company’s standards for safe and satisfactory performance.

To provide the most professional service available to the guest through good, prompt and courteous service.  Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
    
1.    Sincerely greet and welcome guests with a warm and welcoming manner, introducing yourself and offering a beverage.
2.    Maintain a professional presence at the barista station at all times.
3.    Process financial/guest transactions in an accurate, efficiently, and timely manner.  
4.    Know the script, drink menu, and hours of operation.  
5.    Complete pre, running, and post shift side-work requirements. 
6.    Ability to multi-task with the needs of the business.  
7.    Know all pricing, promotions, and discounts that apply to pricing.  
8.    Knowledge of all amenities to properly transact and deliver to its completion.  
9.    Responsibilities for maintaining proper levels of product stock throughout.
10.    Responsible for ensuring that all soiled dishes are returned to the proper area of stewarding and supplies are placed in their proper area.  
11.    Responsible for opening, closing, and running duties of cash handling policies and cash out process.  
12.    Adhere to all internal controls, policies, and procedures.  
13.    Maintains all professional presence at the restaurant’s entrance at all times.  
14.    Graciously manages the waiting line and effectively and efficiently.
15.    Responsible for the cleanliness of bar/barista area.  
16.    Adheres to all internal controls, policies, and procedures.  
17.    Maintain a cheerful, positive attitude and appropriate conduct with both guests and teammates at all times. 
18.    Anything additional requested by management.
