Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced, personable, and detail-oriented Bartender to join the team at the No Name Lounge. This role is essential to creating a memorable bar experience for our guests by offering exceptional service, expert cocktail knowledge, and warm hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Create and serve a variety of hand-crafted cocktails, along with a selection of wine and beer.
- Ensure all guests feel welcome, engaging with them to provide recommendations and answer any questions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area, including preparation and storage of all bar essentials.
- Verify identification and monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Stay well-informed of current drink trends, beverage options, and Shula’s menu items to make recommendations.
- Prepare the bar for service, restocking and cleaning as necessary before and after each shift.
- Accurately handle transactions, manage tabs, and process payments according to procedures.
- Work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff to fulfill orders and deliver food to bar guests.
- Uphold high standards for the quality and presentation of each drink.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including maintaining sanitized glassware, equipment, and tools.
Requirements:
- Proven bartending experience in a high-end or fine dining setting preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktail-making, wine, beer, and premium spirits.
- Outstanding customer service skills and an approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
