- Club announcements.
- Know the liquors including call brands, house brands, and premium brands.
- Create creative cocktails -Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
- Supervise banquet bartenders.
- Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer.
- Clean bars, work areas, and tables.
- Must be able to train other staff proper mixology methods.
- Serve snacks or food items to members and guests seated at the bar.
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
- Limit problems and liability related to members and guests' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading the members and guests to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons.
- Prepare appetizers, such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats as instructed by the head bartender.
- Note: Other duties may be assigned. They are to be in uniform and up to date on menu and club information.

- Country Club Experience is Required.
- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. A.) or;
- Equivalent from two-year College or technical school, or;
- Two-year related experience and/or training, or:
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bartenders must be aware of state and local laws concerning the sale of alcoholic drinks.
- In some states, bartenders must have a bartender's license or a state health certificate.
- Bartenders usually must be at least twenty-one years old, but many bars prefer to hire individuals who are twenty-five or older.
- Bartenders must have a neat and clean appearance and a pleasant, agreeable manner. They often interact socially with the patrons, which works to their advantage as far as tipping is concerned.
- Pleasant personality with good communication skills, proper service techniques, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and knowledge of P.O.S.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
