Summary
Providing quality food and drinks for patrons of the golf course from one of our two beverage carts on the Overlook Golf Course, Overlook Campus, or other Township food service site while keeping a clean cart and following R.A.M.P. rules and regulations. Aiding at the Sand Trap Restaurant taking and serving food and bar orders, busing tables and collecting payments.
Essential Functions:
- To conduct yourself as a professional all times in the interest of providing a good example to both patrons and personnel. Communicate policy, rules, and regulations; ensure work meets quality standards, while following safety standards.
- Assist members with food and beverages as they are playing golf on our exceptional course.
- Drives food and beverage cart on Overlook Golf Course and within the Overlook Community Campus.
- Serves food and drinks utilizing appropriate food/drink handling techniques.
- Responds to any safety situation in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
- Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) computer systems
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time and intermittently.
- Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Ability to talk, hear, and see.
- Occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of basic math, addition, subtraction, etc.
- Knowledge of government food handling and sanitation regulations including National Restaurant Association ServSafe Certification
- ServSafe Certified preferred
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures for equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of department policy, procedures, and work rules.
- Knowledge of State Liquor Control Board regulations for food service establishments including RAMP Certification
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Basic Math and one- to two- years of bartending experience preferred.
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work the schedule as described
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have reliable transportation
