Position Overview:

Maü Miami is seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area.

Job duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Maü Miami’s standards.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
• Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume, upscale environment.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Certification in Mixology or relevant training is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
