Position Summary:
Bartender is responsible for crafting a premium beverage experience for guests in a refined setting. This role requires expert knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, fine wines, and premium spirits, as well as the ability to engage with guests in a polished and professional manner. The bartender must maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar, ensuring that every drink served meets our establishment’s high standards.
Key Job duties
• Craft and Serve Beverages:
• Prepare classic cocktails, craft cocktails, and signature drinks, as well as pour wines and spirits to order.
• Customize drinks according to guest preferences and dietary requirements.
• Provide guidance on drink selections, including pairing recommendations for food items on the menu.
• Customer Service:
• Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the bar.
• Engage in genuine, knowledgeable conversations about the menu, beverages, and pairings.
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure an outstanding guest experience in line with fine dining expectations.
• Maintain Bar Standards:
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized bar station.
• Follow sanitation and health regulations, ensuring compliance with local and state laws.
• Restock supplies, manage inventory, and track bar stock levels efficiently.
• Follow precise portion controls and recipe guidelines to maintain consistency in quality and presentation.
• Operations and Coordination:
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver a seamless dining experience.
• Handle point-of-sale systems for processing orders and payments accurately.
• Monitor and manage responsible alcohol service to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for guests.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a fine dining or upscale hospitality setting, with a strong focus on mixology and beverage presentation.
• Extensive knowledge of classic and modern cocktail recipes, wines, and spirits, with an understanding of pairing principles.
• Certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate professionally and tactfully with guests and team members.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of drink preparation, presentation, and customer interaction.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining grace under pressure.
Physical Skills and Qualifications
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift.
