About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at Bark Social.
Bark Social brings out the fun between dogs and humans with a private, monitored off-leash dog park, a beer garden & coffee bar. Featuring a play space, casual eating, curated cocktails and fun dog merchandise, our goal is to engage, delight, and support the dog-loving community we serve. With thousands of enrolled members we have plenty of thirsty regulars!
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to our guests in a professional and welcoming manner.Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, build relationships with members
- Take food and drink orders and prepare drinks according to recipes and guest preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Monitor and control inventory to ensure accurate stock levels
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests to ensure a positive experience
- Upsell and promote specials and featured drinks, pass samples
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Adhere to all legal regulations regarding the service of alcohol
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality drinks
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
