Baseball Performance Coach at BRX Performance is focused on creating life-changing experiences of athletic and personal transformation as they guide athletes with personalized training experiences at our state-of-the-art facility in Milwaukee WI. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement customized training programs for baseball athletes based on their specific needs and goals.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate athletes' strengths and weaknesses and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide personalized coaching and instruction to athletes during training sessions, focusing on proper technique and injury prevention.
- Track athletes' progress and make adjustments to their training programs as needed to optimize performance.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest research and trends in baseball strength and conditioning to continuously improve coaching methods.
- Collaborate with other coaches and performance staff to provide a comprehensive training experience for athletes.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, providing feedback, motivation, and support to help them reach their goals.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
- 3+ years of developing baseball athletes or high-level playing experience
- 2+ years utilizing Data analysis or spreadsheet software
- Proficient with office technologies and applications like Zoom, Word, Excel, Email, and CRMs
- Certification from a recognized strength and conditioning organization (e.g., CSCS, NASM-CPT, or equivalent).
- Ability to start on a full-time basis in 2-4 weeks from job acceptance
Job Skills & Required Knowledge
- Expertise in creating individualized baseball training programs
- Advanced comprehension with player assessment and evaluations
- Advanced knowledge of anatomy, Kinesiology, and Bio-Mechanics
- Advanced skills in designing throwing and hitting routines for baseball players
- Expert in constructing periodizing training programs around athlete schedules
- Proficient with video analysis for skill development in baseball
- Track record of ability to improve baseball athletes' athletic performance
- Experiences with baseball to mentor athletes through the ups and downs
- Proficient with data entry and analysis for athlete performance tracking
- Technologically proficient in using business software applications.
- Proficiency with athlete management software for monitoring and reporting
Benefits
- Salary BOE: $50,000-$70,000
- Revenue Sharing Bonuses: 12-month OTE income: $54,000-$84,000
