Our client is expanding and seeking a Microbiologist Technician in East Setauket, NY.

Must have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
Education: Bachelors Degree
Location: East Setauket, NY (Long Island) 11733
Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $29.00 – 30.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday - 8 am to 4:30 and Friday 9am to 5:30 pm
Length of Assignment: Contract

Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological testing of raw materials and/or formulations in personal and Home care applications.
- Conversant with microbial counts.
- Media preparation/dilutions, review/update micro related SOPs.
Requirements:
- Experience in using either oral care, skin care or home care pathogens.
- Previous exposure to biological techniques.
