Position Title:BCBV Operations Coordinator

Reporting to the Manager of Operations, position is responsible for coordination of mobile and building maintenance, projects and applicable assessments. Responsible for fuel cards, exterior account invoice, facility work orders and all follow-up activity to include scheduling. Will act as BCBV liaison for Building and Fleet and Vehicle Maintenance.

In this role, youll:
- Coordinates repairs and upkeep of BCBV NDC and related equipment with Leasing Company, Building and Fleet or designated exterior service provider.
- Prepares plans and manages building and fleet maintenance, repairs, janitorial services and necessary purchases that are approved.
- Manages external contracts and building permits; manages facility inspections ensures compliance with regulatory authorities.
- Point of contact for NDC Burglar and Alarm Accounts; Manages NDC Fire Alarm Panels.
- Coordinates with Building and Fleet and Service Account Representatives to schedule resources to complete projects.
- Coordinates daily with donors to schedule appointments through Digital Donor
- Responsible for Digital Donor Training
- Maintains fuel card receipts and verifies monthly fuel card purchases, assures fuel cards and employee fuel codes are current and maintains record filing system.
- Reviews, inspects, and maintain Bio-Waste area and documentation records.
- Works with off-site security company, serves as Security Liaison, acts as Building and Fleet Change Management Control Liaison.
- Act as a back-up Coach Driver to support operations when needed.
- Other Job duties as needed to assist BCBV operations
- Responsible for CPR Training / Certifications and AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
- All duties as assigned.
We need someone who has:
- High school Diploma or GED;
- A minimum of two years previous job related experience required, preferably to include supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Texas Driver's License (CDL); if not, one must be obtained within 60 days
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record
- Must meet standards of The Blood Centers Vehicle Safety Program
- Good working knowledge of Mobile Operations equipment and supply usage
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Computer Literate: must have familiarity with using computers.
- Certificate of Phlebotomy desirable.
- EMT Certification or licenses in a related field a plus.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and acceptable driving record.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and blood and/or blood components, as well as any other biohazard materials. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock, fumes, or airborne particles . The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Job duties involve an inherent potential for mucous membrane or skin contact with blood with a risk of exposure to Hepatitis and HIV.
