About the Job
As a Senior Site Coordinator for the Haverhill YMCA Before & After School program, you will help the leadership team in supervising staff, ensuring program compliance, and ensuring the safety, and well-being of elementary-aged children while overseeing a daily schedule of engaging activities. On a regular day, you will provide supportive coaching and guidance to staff and students, ensure licensed childcare compliance, maintain the site space and program resources provide supervision to on-site supervisors of high-capacity afterschool sites, and build strong relationships with parents and school district partners. In addition, as a year-round position, during the summer season, Site Coordinators play a pivotal role in providing leadership to day camp programming.
To thrive in this position you have experience in a leadership and supervisory position as part of a licensed childcare or after-school program. You have managed large child-care programs with 60-100 participants in attendance and have strong behavior management and classroom management skills that you can model and communicate effectively to children and staff. You have experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds, familiarity with summer camp programming, and local state licensing regulations for childcare programs. You are a natural leader seeking a larger role with opportunities for advancement. You can meet deadlines and build collaborative work environments between groups.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 20 years old
- Associates or bachelors degree preferred
- Must meet EEC qualifications of a Site Coordinator and have a minimum of 1 year of previous experience working with school aged children in a program setting
- Previous Site Coordinator or relevant experience required.
