Position Summary:
We are currently hiring dedicated and compassionate individuals to work as Behavior Technicians. You will work alongside a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement customized intervention plans and teach essential life skills in settings such as homes, schools, and community environments. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll deliver evidence-based interventions, track progress, and assist clients in reaching their goals.
Key Duties:
• Carry out individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to meet each client’s specific needs.
• Provide one-on-one instruction using ABA techniques like discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching, and behavior management.
• Accurately collect and log data on client behavior and progress using specified methods.
• Help clients build functional skills in areas such as communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages learning, engagement, and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention strategies.
• Communicate regularly with clients, caregivers, and team members, sharing progress updates and important information.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to improve your ABA skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, implement behavior plans effectively, and collect data accurately.
• Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to homes, schools, or community settings.
• Strong commitment to ethical standards, client confidentiality, and promoting an inclusive, positive environment.
• Patience, compassion, and dedication to helping individuals achieve their goals.
