Loyal Source Government Services is currently hiring a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide behavioral health advisory services to Program employees and families coping with work-life stressors due to the humanitarian crisis. Will also conduct ongoing needs assessments related to the behavioral health characteristics of the current work environment and recommend changes to processes that strengthen employee resilience and wellness. The incumbent will also conduct screenings on individuals that appear to have mental health challenges and make referrals for additional mental health assistance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- The Operational Behavioral Health Advisor positions will serve two general functions:
- Provide Operational Behavioral Health advice, guidance, support, oversight, consultation regarding individuals
- Provide Operational Behavioral Health advice, support, and coordination to Sector leadership and program personnel
- Operational Behavioral Health Support for individuals
- Provide national-level and sector level advice, guidance, and oversight regarding behavioral health protocols and procedures for individuals
- Initial intake interview, medical assessment, psychological triage, psychological first aid, referral, follow-up, case management, release, transfer
- Participate in medical quality management processes as related to behavioral health for individuals
- Provide consultation regarding specific behavioral health cases/issues related to individual
- Provide national-level and sector level advice, guidance, and oversight regarding behavioral health protocols and procedures for individuals
- Operational Behavioral Health Support for Program Sector leadership and Program personnel
- Serve as Operational Behavioral Health Advisor to Sector leadership on Sector-wide operational behavioral health issues
- Conduct needs assessments to identify operational behavioral health issues, and present findings to Program HQ and Sector Leadership.
- Provide advice, guidance, coordination, oversight for sector-level behavioral health issues on topics such as:
- Operational Stress Control
- Suicide awareness/prevention
- Resiliency/Wellness
- Human Factors
- Provide education, awareness, outreach, training to Program personnel, as directed, regarding behavioral health issues
- Facilitate the integration of behavioral health resources and services at the sector-level and the connection of Program personnel to available resources and services to optimize utilization
- Provide confidential consultation with Program personnel regarding urgent behavioral health issues that arise during the course of the workday; to include providing debriefings in the aftermath of a critical incidents. If future consultations are required for Program Personnel, referrals to EAP Counselors will be provided.
- Coordinate and integrate efforts with Program Peer Support and Chaplain Programs, and other Program behavioral health programs and stakeholders to facilitate bridging the gap and provide operational connectivity between Program HQ efforts and end-user services.
- Provide educational muster briefings on behavior health issues.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 out of 5 years working with military or law enforcement is ideal.
