Hourly Rate: $20.60
Position Summary:
Full-time position available immediately for a Behavioral Health Case Manager. This position is located in Mount Vernon.
This position serves as an internal resource for community referrals and linkages, and participates actively as a team member in the delivery of client services and the coordination of community support services. The case manager will need to develop and maintain relationships with other community agencies and organizations. The person in this position must be of good character and able to maintain the understanding, physical health, emotional stability and personality suited to meet the physical, mental, emotional, and social needs of the population served. This person must have the capacity to establish a liaison relationship with community resources, provide outreach service to clients, and demonstrate professionalism and appropriate boundaries in all interactions. May require work within schools or other non-traditional settings, and work from multiple locations.
Qualifications:
+ An Associates of Arts Degree in Behavioral Health, Health Sciences, or related field and two years of closely related work experience is required. Appropriate work experience may be substituted for the degree.
+ Experience in Mental Health or Case Management preferred.
+ Excellent verbal and written skills are a must.
+ Must be eligible for Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration from the State Department of Health. Must have an active Agency Affiliated license within 60 days of hire.
+ Will work from multiple locations. Must have reliable transportation and a valid Washington State Driver License.
+ Will manage cases and contact families, if necessary make home visits.
