Position Summary:
This position is a supervisory position requiring experience in Mental Health and Substance Abuse. The Behavioral Health Directing Clinician will provide administrative and clinical supervision to Behavioral Health Clinicians, Case-Managers, Clinical Associates and Counselors located in Bethel and the surrounding Villages. Travel to remote villages will be expected. Provides clinical services, including integrated assessments, mental health assessments, treatment, referrals, supervision, and collaboration. Carry out administrative duties as directed by Director of Outpatient Services in Behavioral Health.

- Master’s degree in a Mental Health Field such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Nursing with a specialty in Mental Health.
- Clinical supervisory experience preferred.
- Three (3) years clinical experience providing various behavioral health direct services performed at a satisfactory level.
- Experience in a cross-cultural setting, preferably with Native American cultures.
- Appropriate State of Alaska licensure required or must be able to obtain it within 3 months of hire
- Computer literacy required
