Job Summary and Qualifications
Therole of theChief Nursing Officer (CNO) hasoverall authority for providing leadership, direction, and administration ofdirect patient care activities in addition to nursing practice, nursingeducation and development across the organization. The CNOis responsiblefordriving,supportingand modeling a culture focused onemployee engagement, quality, patient safety, fiscal responsibility,andthe overallpatient experience.
What you will do in this role:
- You will strategize and driveprocess improvements focused on innovative care delivery and/or operational models designed to improve clinical services, outcomes, patientthroughput, and patient safety
- You will promotethe use and implementation of technology in the workplacein order tostreamline operations,facilitatecommunications, andoptimizework processes
- You will collaboratewith other disciplines for the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures that address how patient care needs of the patient population served are assessed, met, and evaluated
- You will serveas a member of the executive leadership team, building and supporting effective collegial relationships with applicable internal and external constituents and stakeholders and ensuringoptimaloperating effectiveness and strategic positioning
- You will assumean active role with the hospitals governing body, senior leadership, medical staff, management, and other clinical leaders in the hospitals decision-making structure and process
- You will promoterelationships among all types of community organizations to improve patient outcomes and the health of the communities served
- You willestablishmechanisms to assure nurses throughout the organization are involved in sharedgovernance and decision-making structures and processes thatestablishstandards of practice and address issues of concern
- You will assurethe flow of information and decision-making is bi-directional and horizontal between and among professional nurses at the bedside, the leadership team, and the CNO
What qualifications you will need:
- Needs to have 5 years of RECENT (Within the last year) of Acute Care Director of Behavioral Health experience. Would consider speaking with a candidate that has 3 years of RECENT ACUTE CARE ACNO experience or 2 years of RECENT ACUTE CARE CNO experience. *WOULD NOT ACCEPT CANDIDATES THAT WORKED IN LTAC, ETC ONLY ACUTE CARE
- Bachelors DegreeinNursingrequired
- Master's degree in nursing or anotherappropriate postgraduatehealth science degree isrequiredor proof of enrollment with a written plan to advanced degree completion isrequired
- Current Registered Nurse license without restrictionsrequired

3.)Final Interview: final WebEx interview withPresident of Behavioral health
Sign ON: Possibly 10k but not set on that amount; could go higher.
Relocation: will include relocation assistance (lump sum payment; Direct bill full service move; Guaranteed home sale Etc..)
Annual Bonus (Based on performance): 25-50%
