Responsibilities:- The Intake Coordinator is responsible for intake processing by receiving written and telephone requests for service.
- Communication and documentation of patient information.
- Processing referrals and coordination of admissions.
- Managing patient information systems.
- Interprets Medicare and Medicaid requirements and regulation.
- Must adhere to all rules, regulations, and standards of accrediting and regulatory bodies.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Business or Allied Health preferred.
Experience in the admissions intake process, MD referral, and insurance verification is required.
