A well-known Health Services located in Philadelphia, PA has an immediate need for a Behavior Specialist Consultant
Type: HC-Full-Time/ Perm

Summary:
To promote the mission of facility to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member.
The BSC provides clinical direction of services to a youth, including the oversight of the implementation of an individualized treatment plan.
The BSC collects relevant data through direct and indirect evidenced based methods, develops effective interventions and provides consultation to the treatment team which includes the family, school, mobile therapist, BHT and other service providers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
Ability to pass training on crisis intervention and defensive procedures.

Qualifications:
Licensed in PA as a Behavior Specialist OR
Certified as a BCBA or other graduate level certification in behavior analysis that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute OR
Graduate degree in ABA for an accredited college or university OR
PA License LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed psychologist and minimum of 8 hours verified training in behavior analysis/modification prior to hire OR
Licensed in PA as a Behavior Specialist OR
If not licensed, must have all the following:
Certified as a BCBA or other graduate level certification in behavior analysis that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute OR
Graduate degree in ABA for an accredited college or university OR
PA License LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed psychologist and minimum of 8 hours verified training in behavior analysis/modification prior to hire OR
At least 12 verified credit hours in foundations of behavioral health and the provision of mental health services (e.g. individual, group and family therapy, cognitive and/or psychodynamic therapy, crisis counseling, abnormal psych, psychopathology, assessment, child development, personality theory, psychotherapy lab, clinical practicum.
No more than 3 of the 12 credit hours can be derived from practicum experience
Good and able to use an electronic health record
Strong communication and organizational skills
