Your role as a Behavioral Specialist/Human Service Worker

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Human Service Worker at our Receiving Center in Provo, Utah. Our center operates 24/7, 365 days a year, providing crucial mental health crisis intervention to adults. As a mentor/behavior technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our clients on a varied schedule, picking up shifts whenever you are needed, 7 days a week AND holidays. Your responsibilities will include monitoring client safety, implementing behavioral plans, and accurately documenting observations.

With a variable schedule, you will be covering shifts on an on-call basis for multiple crisis and intensive services programs, you will have the opportunity to provide empathetic and customer-centric care to those in need 7 days a week AND holidays. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one (1) year post high school education in social work
• psychology or a related field and one (1) year of general work experience
• or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
