As the Bell Captain at Town and Country Resort, you’ll be the leader of our bell staff, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of guest luggage, and overall arrival and departure experiences. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming first impression and a lasting farewell for all guests. Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bell staff, including luggage handling, and guest transportation services.
- Lead, train, and mentor the bell team, ensuring they deliver exceptional service with every guest interaction.
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring all luggage is properly tagged, stored, and delivered to guest rooms promptly.
- Coordinate with the front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service, especially during high-traffic periods.
- Supervise the parking and retrieval of guest vehicles, ensuring valet services are efficient and secure.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns, resolving any issues quickly to maintain a positive guest experience.
- Monitor the lobby and entryway areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Assist with group arrivals and departures, ensuring luggage and transportation logistics are well-coordinated.
- Maintain knowledge of the resort’s amenities, services, and local attractions to assist guests with inquiries and recommendations.
- Ensure safety and security protocols are followed, particularly in the handling of guest luggage and vehicles.
- Handle any special requests from guests, including transportation needs or VIP services.
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or a related field, with supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, especially during peak times.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and transporting luggage and working on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve guest concerns with tact and diplomacy.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
