About the Job
Responsiblities:
- Insurance verification specialist will call insurance carriers to verify benefits, quote benefits for various types of mental health services, and complete pre-authorizations for services after clinician input.
- Place proper co-pay, co-insurance amount in EHR, assist with collections, and other billing duties as assigned by the chief biller.
- These services will assist the billing department to ensure proper payments are received.
Requirements:
- Experience with billing, collections, and insurance verification is required (at least one year preferred).
