Insurance Advisor
Our Insurance Advisor assists union employees, existing clients, and new members in understanding group and individual insurance benefits, the importance of having insurance, and enrolling qualified candidates during the annual enrollment period.
Responsibilities:
- Explain insurance policies to new members and existing clients via Zoom
- Develop and calculate tailored plans based on clients' needs
- Specialize in mortgage protection, final expenses, college savings, paycheck protection, etc.
- Resolve client requests and complaints
- Expand the company's reach through networking techniques and service travel (if interested on a voluntary basis)
- Comply with life insurance standards and regulations
- Identify areas for improvement and attend ongoing training sessions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, management, client management, or other related fields such as human resources is an asset
- Ability to build relationships with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
