Make a difference as a Benefits Account Manager
The Benefits Account Manager at iBusinessSolutions will play a pivotal role as a client advocate, ensuring the smooth management of contracts and overseeing renewals. AM's are responsible for handling clients' benefits, budgets, renewals, requests, and compliance needs. The AM will be the primary point of contact for all client-related issues, both for new and existing clients. Collaborating closely with Producers, the role involves providing top-notch customer service and support following client enrollments. Building and nurturing strong client relationships is essential to foster positive and enduring partnerships.
The AM will also analyze service trends, develop corrective action plans, and communicate effectively with Producers on any potential challenges. Additionally, maintaining accurate client records, creating marketing materials, and coordinating meetings are key aspects of the role to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.

To excel as a Benefits Account Manager at iBusinessSolutions, candidates must possess a strong foundation in Employer Group Benefits, preferably with 3-5+ years of experience. An active 215 license or equivalent in good standing is a must, along with a solid understanding of ACA rules and regulations. Proficiency in Excel at a mid to expert level, particularly with large group processing and ACA requirements, is vital for effective data management and analysis. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential for navigating complex client needs, while experience in sales or customer service is beneficial for building rapport with clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional multitasking skills, strong written and verbal communication, effective prioritization, CRM knowledge, and expertise in Excel and Microsoft tools to streamline operations and drive client satisfaction.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- 3-5+ years of experience in Employer Group Benefits
- Active 2-15 License or a combination of 2-40 & 2-14 health life and variable annuities
- Knowledge of ACA rules and regulations, Large Group Processing, and ACA Requirements
- Excel -- Mid to Expert level, and Microsoft Office 365 Expert
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in sales or customer service
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and juggle several responsibilities
- CRM knowledge
