Position Summary
We are looking for a customer-focused Benefits Administrator to join our Benefits team! In this role, you will assist employees with their benefits enrollment and address any associated inquiries. The perfect candidate will demonstrate a dedication to customer service, excel in multitasking, and exhibit outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Administer various employee benefits programs, such as: group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, and other employee benefits.
- Maintain the shared email inbox and phone calls and answer questions or concerns from employees about their benefits.
- Educate employees on benefits and explain benefits self-enrollment system.
- Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
- Assist field HR staff with benefit inquiries.
- Process various daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Maintain National Medical Support Order (NMSO) processing.
- Process life claims and work with beneficiaries to submit paperwork.
- Assist in processing short term disability claims.
- Assist with benefits open enrollment planning, communication and implementation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications & Education
- Previous administration or HR experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally, effectively, and courteously, both orally and in writing.
- Outstanding analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Highly organized and able to work well within time constraints
- Microsoft Excel, Dynamics, Word, PowerPoint
