Benefits Assistant at Loesel-Schaaf Insurance Agency, Inc.

Overview:

We are looking for an individual with benefits knowledge who wants to create a career in helping others with their employee benefit programs. The successful candidate will have a desire to succeed and possess a team-oriented mindset while working independently on their own tasks, as well as assisting others. Attention to detail, initiative, taking ownership to solve complex problems, and delivering raving fan customer service is ideal. Knowledge of COBRA is a plus and proficiency with Excel is a must. 

This role requires you to be physically present at our office to collaborate with team members, access office resources, and engage with clients and staff.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• 1 Year of Employee Benefits experience and knowledge.
• 1 Year of COBRA knowledge and experience.
• 3 years of MS Office program knowledge in Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to learn other software programs as needed.
• Advanced math skills with the ability to accurately work to balance, invoice, audit and create reports.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time, on-site, M-F 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (1 hr lunch)
