About Our Client: Our client is a dynamic organization seeking to enhance their employee benefits programs. They are looking for a skilled Benefits Manager to join their team and manage their comprehensive benefits offerings.
Job Description:
The Benefits Manager will oversee the administration and management of employee benefit programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with legal requirements. This role involves developing, implementing, and communicating benefits policies, as well as working closely with vendors and brokers to optimize benefit plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all company benefit programs, including health, retirement, and welfare plans, as well as leaves of absence and voluntary benefits.
- Address and resolve benefit-related inquiries, providing expert guidance to management and employees.
- Collaborate with brokers and vendors to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to benefit plans.
- Manage benefits changes, including enrollments, life events, and terminations.
- Prepare and update benefit communications, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Complete and submit required reports and audits, such as Form 5500s and ACA reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy of benefit system setups and administration processes.
- Administer COBRA compliance.
- Utilize HRIS and payroll systems to streamline benefit administration.
- Support the integration of benefit and compensation programs during mergers and acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in benefits management and administration.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefit plans and compliance.
- Proven ability to handle complex benefit inquiries and provide effective solutions.
- Experience with benefit providers and data analysis.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
- M&A support experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
