Overview
Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is in search of a talented Benefits & Payroll Coordinator to join our Human Resources team! The Benefits & Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the administration of benefit plans as well as the completion and auditing of portions of the bi-weekly payroll. The coordinator will be supporting both internal and external customers. Must be able to multi-task as well as work with a diverse and inclusive workforce.
This is a Full-Time position (PT available).

Responsibilities
- Coordination of health and welfare plans, annual open enrollment, COBRA, HIPAA and 403(b) Plan.
- Interpret plan provisions and requirements; resolve administration/policy issues and questions; and coordinate activities with vendors / internal business partners
- Manages timely accurate enrollment of new hires, qualifying events, terminations and data transmission to 3rd parties.
- Coordinates many aspects of the annual open enrollment process. Works with internal and external resources to identify optimal media, creating specific, compelling and accurate employee plan materials.
- Advises managers & employees on interpretation of plan provisions. Serves as liaison with internal clients and external vendors on benefit topics or employee issues.
- Prepares all monthly vendor- billing statements & ensures timely payment.
- Responsible for coordination of data necessary to complete internal, state and/or federal reporting, testing and plan eligibility.
- Partners with Payroll to ensure accuracy of data.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or certification equivalent required.
- Bachelors desired.
- 1-3 years benefits/payroll experience in a professional environment.
- Prior HR experience required.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Possess the ability to handle information sensitively and confidentially.
- Strong ability to organize, manage workload, set realistic deadlines, and manage multiple priorities without direct supervision.
- Works well under changing priorities and handles multiple duties.
- The ability to work well with people and portray a positive problem solving approach.
- Strong analytic skills including the ability to thoroughly and accurately complete assignments.
