Benefits Specialist

Our Administrative & HR Staffing team is currently looking to speak with candidates who would be interested in hybrid opportunities in Cambridge, MA with similar specifications to those below:
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefit plans that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance
Process FMLA requests and employment verification.
Provide analytical and technical support in the delivery and auditing of our benefit programs
Manage PTO statement for staff and days off
Assist with Open Enrollment
Set up and perform scheduled audits with benefit carriers
Administrate compensation changes records
Assist with the tracking of FMLA and administrate company leave of absence claims
Perform quarterly 401K audit
Review and pay monthly benefit vendor invoices and maintain budget tracker
Qualifications:
2 years working in HR and benefits, with an in-depth understanding of FMLA, 401K and benefits administration
Experience working with a benefits software and HRIS systems.
Proficient user of Google applications, DocuSign, Greenhouse, Namely
Strong business acumen, customer service and critical thinking skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent problem solving/judgment skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a face-paced environment
