About the Job
The Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing and administering employee benefit programs. This role requires a strong understanding of benefits administration, compliance regulations, and employee service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable benefits regulations.
- Conduct benefit audits and reviews.
- Assist with open enrollment processes.
- Prepare and distribute employee benefit communications.
Qualifications:
- Strong benefits administration experience, including knowledge of health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS systems (preferred).
- Understanding of benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
