We are seeking an Accountant to work in our, Accounting department.

The Accountant works closely with the Controller and Accounting Staff to ensure timely processing of Accounts Receivable, Account Payable, Real Estate Transactions, and Month-End Statements. Additional responsibilities include Inventory Reporting, Revenue Management, Monthly Reporting/Analysis, Budgets and Special Projects Upon Request.
This position requires a solid knowledge of accounting, accounting software, the ability to work with CPAs for year-end audit and familiarity with Business Operations and Business Insurance. A high skill level of Microsoft Office is a must, with emphasis on Excel.
FUNCTIONS / ACCOUNTING
- Weekly Review of Accounts Payable Invoices for coding
- Process and Review weekly, monthly, annual AR Billings
- Monthly-End Process - timely closing of AP and AR, creating and posting journal entries, preparation of financial statements for review by Controller.
- Monthly, Quarterly, Annual - Account Reconciliations
- Distribution of Financial Statements to Management
- Provide necessary Financials to Banks; delivery of required information to Bank
- Work directly with Dept. Managers for the efficient processing of accounting work - AR, AP, Contract, Inventory, etc.
- Prepare Annual Budgets
- Account Analysis as needed.
