Summary of Position
This position is customer-facing and will lead scope calls with the customer that are set up by the sales representation on the account. With input from experts around the business, this position is responsible for translating the customer need into a scope of work document, assess pricing for development services, determining Imbibe ingredient opportunity, circulating the document for approvals, and once signed by the customer, support sales teams during the project kick off.
Essential Job Duties
Project Scoping:
- Responsible for scoping & sizing product development and applications projects and supporting the sales team by creating/finalizing briefs.
- Build internal tracking and training tools for project assessment process.
- Lead proposal development through internal development and approval process by partnering with internal stakeholders to create proposal.
- Reconciling project at closure and post launch to incorporate learnings into scoping, sizing and other process.
- Support sales during internal kick off meetings and participate in external kick off meetings to ensure smooth transfer of information across relevant teams.
- Assessing, pricing, solving scope creep assessments once notified by PM
- Responsible for assessing technical complexity of incoming projects
General:
- Stay up to date in market trends and competitive products in the market and help identify potential markets and gaps in which our ingredients can play.
- Create and provide necessary expertise to support Sales team in promoting Imbibe’s Services & Solutions
- Train internal and external stakeholders on Imbibe’s product portfolio, new processes, and tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years’ food science or product management
- Strong understanding of the food & beverage industry and the product development process
- Professionally mature team player who is highly organized and deadline driven
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Passion for Imbibe's mission and a commitment
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft applications
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Regularly operates a computer and other machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine computer and printer.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time though typical requirements are often less.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data-driven approach with a strong understanding of marketing analytics.
- Proficiency in analyzing customer data and feedback to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
