We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will leverage their expertise in BI tools and data analysis to drive data-based decisions and strategies. The BI Engineer will play a critical role in managing and developing our data infrastructure, creating insightful reports, and visualizations to support strategic decision-making. If you have an analytical mind, a passion for data, and a deep understanding of BI tools, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, manage, and test BI and analytics systems to meet the company's needs.
2. Leverage data storage tools to ensure the smooth delivery of data.
3. Use ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from different sources.
4. Create and manage data models to support the development of BI tools and systems.
5. Utilize SQL and Python to manipulate and analyze data.
6. Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data strategies.
8. Identify and resolve data quality and performance issues.
9. Contribute to data governance and data management initiatives.
10. Ensure all data-related processes comply with legal and company standards.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a BI Engineer or similar role in the legal industry.
3. Proficient in BI technologies such as Tableau and Power BI.
4. Solid experience with data storage tools, ETL processes, SQL, and Python.
5. Strong knowledge of data models and their applications.
6. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear manner.
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Knowledge of data privacy regulations in the legal industry.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
