Technical/Functional Skills
Tableau Development and Administration, Data Modeling
Experience Required
Experience and in-depth knowledge of business intelligence tools and architecture (strong Tableau experience).
Experience interpreting functional needs.
Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions with users and documenting requirements.
Experience with Tableau design, development, and administration.
Ability to understand and analyze data to find patterns and provide valuable business insights.
Design Dashboards and reports in Tableau with different data sources.
Strong semantic design and data modelling skills.
Experience/Exposure with data warehousing tools and techniques (ETL Tools like DataStage, Informatica).
Understanding of End-to-End Data warehouse life cycle right from data source to ETL to transformations to multidimensional models and Reporting.
Roles & Responsibilities
Interact with Business Users and understand their requirements from a data analytics and visualization perspective.
Collaborate with Data analysts regarding business and data requirements.
Work with Customer and technical team to iteratively design visualizations for initial concepts and prototypes to be presented to customers for initial feedback.
Perform detailed data analysis.
Build Prototypes for demonstration and illustration purposes for peer groups, business partners and senior leaders.
Understand and analyze the data to find patterns and valuable business insights.
Deliver dashboards to Business team in a timely manner.
Collaborate with developers that design and build data models and ETL processes.
Function as a mentor and Tableau SME for other Tableau users across the enterprise.
