Bid Coordinator

ATALIAN is seeking an experienced candidate for the position of bid coordinator to join our business development team with the primary function of researching and writing proposal content and preparing forms in response to various government and commercial contract opportunities. Throughout the bidding process, you will work collaboratively with members of our sales team as well as all levels of leadership within ATALIAN to develop comprehensive, compliant, and persuasive proposal materials. This is a fast paced and deadline driven environment.

 The individual we are seeking will be highly efficient with a mix of technical writing, proposal or grant development, research and reporting, communication, design and time management skills.

 Key Functions:

·         Coordinate and develop technical and creative proposals for potential contract bid submissions and project documentation.

·         Read and interpret solicitation documents to develop proposal outlines and other required components to ensure proposal meets the solicitation requirements.

·         Analyze solicitation documents for potential conflicts, determine the scope of work, and identify evaluation criteria.

·         Integrates information from multiple sources into a cohesive, easy to read, compliant final product in accordance with ATALIAN's brand guidelines.

·         Identifies opportunities to improve proposal writing design processes, approaches, coordination, and implementation.

·         Assistants in maintaining and updating systems to report on proposal efforts, including win/los rations.

·         Works collaboratively with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit key information relevant to proposal material to ensure developing a top-notch final product.

·         Contributes to the development and maintenance of best practices, proposal boilerplates, templates, data platform, and style guides.

·         Meets strict deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for research, writing, editing, reviews, and approvals

·         Coordinates with sales team to meet delivery deadlines.

·         Assist with various administrative tasks related to our business, as requested and other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications

·         2-5 years' experience working in a corporate environment is preferred.

·         Must have excellent organization, communication, writing and time management skills.

·         Ability to multitask and meet or beat deadlines in a high-volume production environment.

·         Ability to work as both a team player and an independent self-starter.

·         Able to work and converse efficiently with all levels of colleagues, clients, and other external contacts.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe InDesign and SharePoint

·         Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.

·         Familiarity with proposal automation software is a plus.

·         Prefer Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
