Job Description:
Required skills and qualifications
- Deep experience with Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with Spark
- Familiarity with microservice architecture
- Strong client-facing experience as a data engineer/consultant
- Strong understanding of analytics and data science
- Sql
- Microservice
- Spring
- Responsible for design, prototyping and delivery of software solutions within the big data eco-system
- As a team member designing and implementing solutions based on Big Data software to solve customer business problems
- Also is responsible for explaining and researching the technical capabilities of BMC's products vs our competition
- Participate in vendor landscape and technology assessments (covering for example Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, TensorFlow)
- Advisory and recommendations on Big Data technologies and products including hardware and software
