Job Details
The Bike Store Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of an established bike shop, including team members, merchandise, customer service, and business growth. Manage the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and the operations to run a retail location. Focuses on leading the team in the spirit of our Client's Bike Shop Values; Knowledgeable & communicative, Inclusive, People focused (compassion & empathy), Future focused, Integrity, Locally authentic, Hardworking & open minded. This role is focused on three main areas: Customer Experience, Staff task delegation, & Operational management. Is the face of the brand and a local, connected, engaged cycling advocate.This position will be 70% Store Manager and 30% Service Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all operational tasks required daily are delegated and completed
- Manage the staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Build & manage employee schedule to payroll goals
- Process transfers/orders in and out daily
- Mitigate customer service issues by proactively managing Workorders
- Arrive early to setup the store to open on time
- Plan and collaborate on local marketing efforts
- Aid in recruitment & training of staff in store
- Collaborate with all locations to achieve a cohesive team environment companywide
- Work with merchandising team to plan and manage inventory levels
- Actively seek out operational, marketing & management efficacies
- Close out the store at the end of the day
- Ensure a high degree of focus on visual merchandising and store cleanliness
- Review and organize Special Orders and Layaways daily
- Manage Online Order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Must be a good communicator; excellent people skills and be able to lead a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to generate reports associated with area of business
- Be able to analyze the business and communicate areas of opportunity
- Must provide motivating and enthusiastic leadership
- Be able to handle high volume sales and lead team accordingly
- Flexible; must fit in and work well with all peers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask
- Has a high attention to detail
- Be flexible and open to a high degree of change
- Able to diffuse complex customer situations
Job Information:
- Full-time (Direct Hire)
- Pay Rate 65K-80K
- W2
- Location: Onsite
