Summary
The Operations Supervisor implements, maintains, and administers all activities related to the successful operations of the assigned Distribution Center.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides supervision and leadership, training, coaching, and feedback to the assigned distribution center
- Oversees the training and education of all new personnel on RASCO products, operational systems, and company policies
- Assigns work, guides, and trains employees
- Responsible for performance and merit reviews
- Recommends hires, reclassifications, promotions, and terminations
- Administers disciplinary action as necessary and is accordance with company policies and procedures
- Upholds the Reliable Safety Program as outlined by the Human Resources Department and Director of Operations
- Monitors and maintain costs within the budget constraints as outlined in the warehouse budget
- Implements the Material Management Program through the forecasting and ordering of required products which includes the accomplishment of the required material turns and the control of slow moving product
- Reviews and approves time sheets, expense reports, and other weekly progress reports
- Organizes, maintains, and reviews all MTO orders, backorders, or other special customer requests
- Responsible for the control of all working funds and petty cash distributions.
- Conducts weekly coordination meetings with staff to discuss operational issues, goal accomplishment, and customer service performance
- Manages the customer service department to ensure Reliable customers receive professional outstanding service which includes the minimizing of shortages, status of backorders, and the expeditious resolution of customer problems
- Reviews Customer Service Performance Reports, pricing and freight credits, and all inventory adjustments
- Manages daily delivery schedules and freight vendors
- Maintains all warehouse activities to include; order processing, receiving, put away, checking, shipping, and returns
- Operates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipment
- Checks shipping supplies which include pallets, boxes, packaging material, tape, labels, & Zebra printer ribbons
- Maintains system component ordering schedules and ensures orders are processed
- Maintains building security
- Insures cycle counts are completed and accurate
- Follows up on weekly and monthly reporting regarding shipping speed, productivity, customer service, ISW, etc.
- Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor.

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Logistics, or related field
- 5 + years' experience in Customer Service and/or Distribution
- 5 + years of demonstrated leadership experience
