High School Diploma with 2-3 years of experience working with adults with physical and developmental/intellectual disabilities and the elderly population; including adults with dementia or Alzheimer’s and/or running programs. Bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Services, or related field preferred. 

Experience implementing programs and supervising staff.

Fluent in Spanish and English.

Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and ability to meet deadlines.

Have the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Access to reliable transportation and auto insurance coverage.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work requires to be performed in a variety of settings with varying levels of cleanliness, noise, sitting, standing, walking, squatting, bending, lifting and carrying over 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, and dragging. Occasional exposure to blood-borne or airborne pathogens. Occasional exposure to combative clients.
