ABOUT TBS
Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) is a specialized program that supports clients with reducing maladaptive behaviors that may be happening at school, home or in the community that may be negatively impacting their ability to be successful. Clients may be transitioning from group home care or are at-risk of hospitalization or out of home placement. TBS is considered an intensive service that focuses on transferring skills to caregivers for long-term success. Services are provided in the community including, but not limited to, schools, hospitals, and family homes. The program involves one-on-one therapeutic behavioral coaching to help clients, and their caregivers develop effective behavior management skills such as healthy communication and self-soothing skills.
