Job Description: As an In-Home Aide with MedLink Homecare, your role is to provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, working closely with our Registered Nurse Service Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Follow care plans to ensure clients receive safe and competent care.

• Assist with personal hygiene and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs.

• Bathing of Client.

• Support clients in self-administering medications as directed.

• Encourage independence and engage clients in activities.

• Provide emotional support and establish trusting relationships with clients and families.

• Monitor and report changes in client's condition to the Registered Nurse.

• Perform light housekeeping duties for client comfort and safety.

• Maintain visit reports and client records regularly.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Completion of required competencies demonstrated to the Registered Nurse.

• Good physical health and ability to perform assigned tasks.

• Basic understanding of personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation.

• Listing on the Nurse Aide Registry if extensive assistance is required.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check.

• Must be able to Speak Fluent Spanish

Job Conditions:

• Ability to drive and assist clients in and out of vehicles.

• Physical ability to access various home environments and perform client care tasks.

• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
