Established, award-winning Vascular Surgeon Practice in Garland currently has a Full-time opening for an experienced, professional, team & patient-care driven Bilingual CMA (Spanish/English fluent) to join as a permanent member of our tight knit clinician team - Cardiology experience HIGHLY preferred!

> *May travel up to 25% of the time, between our clinics located in Garland and Plano. 
*(MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT PROVIDED)

*Seeking a CMA with: Cardiology experience, BLS Certified, clinic and procedural assistance!

SHIFT: Mon to Fri, 8a - 5p (full-time, 40 hours/week guaranteed) 

PAYRANGE: $20.17/hr- $22.00/hr
> (granted Based on experience - The more you have, the better!) 

Bilingual (Spanish/English) CMA Job Description:

• CMA supports patient care delivery by assisting Physicians
• Receives delegation of clinic activities from physicians
• Vascular Surgeons perform diagnostic and surgical procedures of the heart, lungs, chest and major blood vessels
• Provide direct nursing care
• Prepares patients for the health care visit
• Prepares patient charts, verifies diagnostic test results are available in the patient’s record prior to the clinic visit
• Verifies patient information, insurance, etc. 
• Clean & turnover exam rooms between patients to ensure short turnover
• Travel: 25% - Travel to Garland & Plano clinics as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Cardiology experience highly preferred.
2. 1 year of Clinic experience
3. 1 year of procedural assistance (required)
4. High School Diploma, GED
5. BLS Certification (required)
6. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (required)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Have extensive working knowledge of common medical names, terms and descriptions.
• Must present good communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to adapt to changes in work tasks or environment, adjusting effectively to carry on within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.
