Direct Sales Representative
Lit Fiber - Brownsville is looking for a Direct Sales Representative (DSR) to target our Single Family Home line of business with a minor focus on small/medium business. It will be the DSR's responsibility to create customer awareness of our services, and close sales. This position will sell full fiber internet service to homes in the local Brownsville Market.
This role will consist of being out in the field every day prospecting customers through outbound calling, in-person visits, canvassing neighborhoods, working city events, Lit Fiber customer classes, and local business and commerce events.
Your focus is to sell into our newly lit and existing fiber markets, recommend ancillary products, and drive customers to ultimately sign-up. You will need to be the expert in your field on our product, the competitors, and the local market.
Responsibilities:
- Main focus is selling new and existing neighborhoods Lit Fiber Internet.
- In-person visits and door knocking.
- Canvassing Neighborhoods (Door Tagging).
- Work/Attend Events locally sponsored by us, the city, and other entities.
- Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management.
- Collaborate with other teams, like corporate marketing, customer service, and operations to ensure sales consistency.
- Manage a monthly quota and sales number.
- Build relationships with local constituents and referral sources to increase close rate.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience is beneficial, but not necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Community building and relationship building.
- Self-drive with a high desire to hunt for new opportunities.
- A valid Driver's License with the ability to pass a background check and the use of a personal vehicle.
- College, High School or GED graduate.
- Time management skills with the ability to work outside of an office setting.
- Weekend/Evening availability - high sales opportunities.
- Bilingual - English/Spanish
