PrideStaff is hiring a Bilingual Field Services Manager for an Erosion Control client in Charlotte, NC and Charleston, SC.
The Field Services Manager position is responsible for supervising multiple field crews in the installation and maintenance of erosion control Best Management Practices. In addition, the role is responsible for quality assurance, overseeing processes that make the team more efficient, and auditing work performed by field crews.
The Field Services Manager is responsible for the hiring, firing, and development/coaching of direct reports.
Location: Charlotte NC 28216 and Charleston SC 29405
Pay Rate: 60,000 - 70,000 based on experience
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday , (time varies depending on work location), 40+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the industry and environmental laws/regulations, this may cause you to work
on weekends and/or holidays.

Work Environment
In vehicle, driving to multiple job sites and to client meetings. When on location at client construction job sites, proper construction field attire is required including high top and hard-toe work boots that protect the ankle, hard hats, safety vest, Khaki pants (no jeans). Safety glasses and safety vest
may be required on a case by case basis pursuant to local and jobsite specific requirements.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, develop, and manage a group of efficient, safe, and professional Field Quality Managers and Environmental Field Service Specialists.
- Be on top of all issues in your market and drive performance, accountability, cost control, and vendor relations.
- Work with Operations’ staff to assure all entries (NextService), Work Quality Statements (WQS), vehicle and equipment inspections, payroll, PO submittal, and cost controls are submitted in an accurate and timely manner.
- Manages all costs including: labor, overtime, equipment, tools, fuel, vehicles, and inventory.
- Supervise crew-level preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment to assure maximum up time and usage.
- Ensure that all team members are wearing proper work clothing and PPE at all times.
- Maintain facilities and equipment/material storage yard so they are well organized, clean, and free from debris and hazardous conditions.
- Hold regular (at least weekly) meetings with entire team to go over expectations including safety, processes and procedures, client and site specific needs to include billing practices (i.e. builder requests, EPO requirements, etc.)
- Periodically audit all crews to ensure they are installing/repairing Best Management Practices (BMPs) both efficiently and according to standards.
- Hire, develop, and dismiss team members and to assure a high performing and high integrity team.
- Ensure that all team members’ voice mail, email, phone communication, and all forms of interaction is done professionally and adheres to Valor’s standards.
- Follow guidelines built to assist in creating efficiency and value (i.e. contact with project manager, site supervisor, timely submittal of work quality statements, end of site reports, and other efficiency control measures required from time to time.)
- Assist the Field Operations Coordinator and Project Manager with directing, scheduling, and coordinating crew activities so that clients’ needs are met efficiently and on time.

- AA/AS degree, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of work experience in field leadership.
- Must have good command of the English and Spanish language (written and spoken)

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
