Bilingual Teacher Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Listen:
- Engage with children attentively to understand their needs, interests, and developmental progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates and insights into their child"s experiences and growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share observations and strategies for supporting each child"s development.
- Learn:
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in early childhood education and development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Observe and document each child's developmental milestones and learning experiences, using this information to tailor educational activities.
- Lead:
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster infants" physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Serve as a role model for infants, demonstrating positive behavior and effective communication skills.
- Inspire and guide children to reach their full potential, helping to shape their future success.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates will have an associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field OR CDA
- At least 1 year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility.
- Strong understanding of infant growth and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent Spanish and English
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
