About the Job
We are seeking an office receptionist and assistant who will answer and screen phone calls, provide basic information & assistance when requested, in addition to performing light administrative tasks, and various other duties. A BILINGUAL SPANISH SPEAKER IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. Current full time position 4-5 days per week (Monday- Friday), 3 months trial period- may convert to permanent position based on individual's performance.
Receptionist Job Duties:
- Welcome visitors by greeting them, answering their inquiries, or directing them to another staff member/ department.
- Answer and screen phone calls.
- Assist students with course registrations via e-mail, phone, in-person.
- Provide administrative assistance when requested by upper management.
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, scanning, printing, etc.
- Enter and edit data into software
- Collecting payments from students.
- Collect and distribute mail to corresponding staff member.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area by complying with procedures and regulations
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Qualifications:
- Must be computer literate
- Efficient in Microsoft Office (especially word & excel), Outlook, Teams
- Proficient English Communication Skills- written and verbal. Must be able to use proper phone etiquette.
- College Degree (or in progress)- preferred
- Have excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Fast Learner
- Able to work well under pressure
- Reception/ Administrative background- at least 6 months experience (preferred)
- Must be detail-oriented
- Sales experience a plus
Salary
20 - 25 /hour
